Absolutely want and love. This ‘book iPhone charging dock’ would go so well with my current iPhone case cover.

The ‘Goggles Umbrella’. I know what you’re thinking… you can get umbrellas entirely see-through which offers a better view. But this one is just too cute. I think it goes without saying that this is on my birthday want list.

Living in in the big city does have it’s downsides: traffic, pollution, noise, small apartments with space constraints - it’s a concrete jungle. Now I’m no gardening expert and nor do I think watering plants counts as having a green thumb, but I do appreciate having access to fresh produce - homegrown herb garden or a vegie patch. The ‘Sky Planter’ is something that answers to this need - offering a new way of enjoying plants within confined spaces. New Zealand designer, Patrick Morris’ revolutionary process is by having a locking disc that holds the soil and plant in place and an innovative reservoir system that both conserves water and gradually hydrates the plant’s roots over time.
It would make the most nicest housewarming gift… *hint hint nudge nudge*

Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seem to go right. When your own body seem to resist the commands of your mind. Like an uncontrollable teenager full of angst - rebellious, temperamental, emotional, sensitive and down-right annoying. Instructions simply does not filtrate through. Today were one of those days.
Bruised. Exhausted. Embarassed. Anxious. Impatient. Annoyed. Frustrated. Angry
The build up of such mixed (negative) emotions is bound to affect your own actions and result in some unwelcomed consequences. For me, everything seem to suck and you end up being a real clutz: tripping, tipping things over, accidentally hurting yourself (again and again). And if it happens to you enough times, you start to get agitated… A LOT. Hence continuing the vicious cycle all over again. Enter negative snowball effect. Insert *SCREAM*
I came across these ‘Happy pills’ tonight. And somehow, magically, although not completely, I honestly felt a little bit better.
I even smiled.
It inspired me to go eat some gummy lollies. So I did.
… and you know what… I kinda like it.

Not quite sure what to make out of this but here’s what I got as a surprise on Valentines. Lying on my bed was a Gingerbread boy… complete with a post-it note.
I was really curious where this quirky gift idea came from and cornered my partner asking him whether he had got this for free and had given it to me in place of a ‘REAL’ present. Obviously giving something (and anything) reduces the likelihood of dealing with a disgruntled girlfriend. I can see why he might have thought this would be an effective attempt at romance.
8 points for I-would-have-never-guessed-you-would-get-this-as-a-gift and 2 points for ‘What da?!’ because a.) it was most definitely out of nowhere, b.) does it even count as a proper gift? and c.) it was given on Valentines Eve!?!? Does this not break every single Valentine’s rule in the book?
Not that Valentines has any rules… And as cheesy as it sounds it was really cute, the thought does counts and it did make me smile. Love is sweet… literally :)
HAPPY VALENTINES EVERYONE!

The Gear Ring is made from high quality matte stainless steel. It features six micro-precision gears that turn in unison when the outer rims are spun (as can be seen in the video). It is currently available for purchase in four standard US ring sizes: 9, 10, 11, and 12.

… I know what I’m getting for my special one :)
